The factory 6.5" speakers in the Toyota Hilux are fine for talk radio — but if you want real depth and volume, you need more cone area. These 3D-printed speaker spacers adapt your factory 6.5" front door mounting to accept a full 8" aftermarket speaker, giving you a serious audio upgrade without any permanent modifications to your doors.

Built to Handle the Aussie Climate
Every spacer is 3D-printed from ABS plastic — a tough, impact-resistant thermoplastic known for its durability in automotive applications. ABS holds up well under heat, vibration, and the day-to-day rigours of life inside a door panel.
The spacers arrive in a clean matte black finish, unpainted and ready to install straight out of the box. If you prefer a colour-matched look, ABS accepts paint well — a light scuff and a coat of plastic-adhesion primer is all you need.
Installation
Remove the factory door panel and disconnect the factory 6.5" speaker.
Bolt the speaker spacer onto the factory mounting points using the original hardware.
Mount your 8" aftermarket speaker into the spacer and connect your wiring.
Refit the door panel and enjoy the upgrade.
Important Notes
- Speakers not included — This listing is for the spacer adapters only. 8" speakers sold separately.
- Unpainted finish — Spacers arrive in matte black ABS. Paintable with proper preparation.
- Wiring adapter may be required — Depending on your speaker choice, you may need an aftermarket wiring harness.
- Sold as a pair — Includes two spacers for both front doors.

FAQ
No — all brackets come straight off the printer UNPAINTED in matte black ASA plastic. They can be painted by the customer to match your vehicle colour if desired.
No — wiring is not included. You will need to source your own wiring loom to connect the lights.
All our 3D printed parts are made from ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) plastic. ASA is UV-resistant, heat-resistant, and significantly more durable than standard ABS or PLA plastics. It's the same material used in automotive exterior components.
Orders are typically dispatched within 1-3 business days. Delivery times vary by location. Perth metro pickup is available from Oz Audio Wangara.
